On behalf of the ISSMO Executive Committee, we are very pleased to announce that the ISSMO/Springer Prize 2025 is awarded to:

• Mr. Hao Li: “Homogenisation-based topology optimisation for convection-dominated heat transfer incorporated with neural network surrogate modelling”, by Hao Li and Joe Alexandersen, University of Southern Denmark.
• Mr. Vladislav Pimanov: “Sparse narrow-band topology optimization for large-scale thermal-fluid applications”, by Vladislav Pimanov, Alexandre T. R. Guibert, John-Paul Sabino, Michael Stoia and H. Alicia Kim, University of California San Diego and The Boeing Company.  

The EC commended also the other candidates for the high quality of their research works.
