ISSMO/Springer Prize 2019

Mathilde Boissier and Weiming Wang are the 2019 recipients of the ISSMO-Springer Prize for exceptional Young Scientist.

They receive this prize for their excellent presentations and outstanding papers delivered at the ISSMO 13th World Congress of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (WCSMO-13) held in Beijing, China, May 2019. Mathilde Boissier’s paper was titled “Laser path optimization for Additive Manufacturing” with co-authors Gregoire Allaire and Christophe Tournier. Weiming Wang’s paper was titled ” “Space-Time Topology Optimization for Additive Manufacturing: Concurrent Optimization of Structural Layout and Fabrication Sequences” with co-authors Dirk Munro, Charlie Wang, Fred van Keulen and Jun Wu.

The Award Ceremony for the Prize will be held during the General Assembly Meeting at WCSMO-14 in 2021.
