Mr. Pai Liu is the 2017 recipient of the ISSMO-Springer Prize for exceptional Young Scientist.

The Prize is awarded to Mr. Liu for his excellent presentation and outstanding paper delivered at the ISSMO Twelfth World Congress of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (WCSMO-12) held in Braunschweig, Germany, June 2017.  The paper and presentation were titled ”Integrated topology optimization of multi-component system considering interface behavior of interconnection based on  conforming mesh and interface elements” with Zhan Kang as co-author.

The Award Ceremony for the Prize was held during the General Assembly Meeting at WCSMO-13 in 2019.
