Dr. Ikjin Lee was the recipient of 2007 ISSMO/Springer Prize for Young Scientist.

The Prize is awarded to Dr. Lee for an excellent presentation and outstanding paper read
at ISSMO’s Seventh World Congress of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization
(WCSMO-7) held in Seoul, South Korea, 2007.

The title of the presentation is ” Dimension Reduction Method (DRM) Based RBDO
for Highly Nonlinear Systems,” that is coauthored with K.K. Choi, Liu Du, and David
Gorsich.

The Prize was handed over at ceremony during the General Assembly
Meeting at the WCSMO-8 in Lisbon, Portugal 2005. After Dr. Lee gave a brief
presentation of his winning paper.
